It was finally a beautiful weekend in the land of rain. Saturday started sunny and warmer than it has been but it's still February so we can't expect too much yet. Joe's folks and brother were here so we did the Seattle tourist thing, went to Pikes market and then over to west Seattle for a walk on Alki beach. I know what your thinking, a beach in the city? Actually yes, with real sand and everything. Of course the six of us and everyone in Seattle had the same idea so it was crowded for the first day of sun in 2008 but is was fun. Selena enjoyed throwing rocks into the water, so far she's favors her left hand and has quite the throw. After it started to get a little windy we made our way to the Cheesecake Factory for a very yummy dinner and of course cheesecake. It was a fast weekend like always.
