We had a nice weekend in Corvallis with my dad, sister and Emma. We pretty much just did things that we always want to do but never get to when we are in town.
We started Saturday morning with a long walk from the Fairgrounds to the OSU campus and all around. We remembered the classes we had in different building and the fun we had being young. We went to the MU and the bookstore to pick up some Beaver gear for the little girls and then continued the walk back to my dad's.
We then traveled downtown and went to the candy shop which had the best Cinnamon chocolate ganache I have ever had. Well it was my first one but it was GREAT. We went to the bookstore and to the Toy Factory where Selena still have $8 left on her gift card from her birthday. She used it to buy like 15 marbles all different sizes and colors. Should be fun.
We hit up American Dream Pizza, best pizza on earth, and went next door for gelato, also a first for me.
Sunday we woke up and were lazy and the girls opened some valentine gift bags before heading to New Morning Backery for brunch. Last weekend was just what I needed, it made me miss Corvallis even more, it's just so familier to me even though I have been away for 6 years.
Joe and the girls got me the best valentines gift even, an American Dream t-shirt and a large pizza to go.
