- Moments of milky bliss... the rosy cheek, the rumpled hair, a big stretch, then complete relaxation.
- The way my little girl tucks her head into my neck and puts one arm around the other side of my neck each morning on our way to the couch to eat breakfast.
- Those busy little fingers that almost never stop moving.
- Happy coos and squeals when she sees her sister.
- Hearing her giggle in her sleep then smile
- The loud slurping sounds when she is trying to cram both fists into her mouth at once.
- That first morning smile of bright-eyed recognition: "I know you, Mommy!"
- Saturday and Sunday mornings (when we don't have to get up early!)--drifting back to sleep after the early-morning nursing with my little girl nestled next to me, hearing her soft breathing sometimes snorting when she is stuffy.
- The way her whole body shakes with excitement when she eats rice cereal.
- The patch of hair that stands straight up after bath each night which turns into a mohalk by morning.
- The way her arms open when I walk into the room as if saying "pick me up!"
- The way she burps really loud 5 minites after I've already tried burping her.
