Selena is out of surgery this morning and doing well but very grumpy. It's not the best way to wake up by pulling her out of bed at 5:30 and putting her in a cold truck with no food or drink. In the waiting room she was a ham, smiling and waving at everyone and even wanting to sit on some random ladies lap which she did. In total the surgery took less than an hour and she was back with Joe. The nurse wanted Joe to cradle her like a little baby but anyone who has a toddler knows that this will NOT happen. Selena did want to cuddle with daddy but in the upright position.
Back in the truck and on the way home Selena looked less than amused sucking on her pacifier with great fury, head propped up against the side and letting out a little whine every so often. Anyway, I'm sure Joe is going to have a fun day off today, hopefully they have lots of movies to watch.

i'm glad the surgery went well...i hope joe spoils miss selena today. she deserves it!!! take care of the little cutie!
glad the surgery was a success... it's never fun to see your kid sick let alone surgery.
I am looking for support from parents like yourself who know what it's like to try and find a pacifier in the dark.
