Birds Eye View

Well I hear that it's summer but I'm still waiting for proof from the weather, it's been raining pretty much all week. We don't have to big of a weekend planned just some home projects. We ripped out all the molding in the living room on Tuesday evening so looks like we will be painting, putting in new molding and doors. We shall see how it goes as it is our first attemp at a big home project. At least it is a three day weekend.

Selena's new thing is wanting to sit on the kitchen counter and look out the window to find doggies. Thanks to city living we overlook the whole neighborhood so the view out the kitchen window are all the backyards below. Each backyard has a dog or two so as soon as Joe starts cooking Selena wants to be on that counter looking for the doggies and pounding on the window to get their attention. There are the "smoker people" who are outside smoking on the hour with the big dog, there are the "people who ony mow 1/2 their yard" with a big dog and little dog, there are the "hanging basket" people with at least four dogs all small that Selena sometimes refers to as kitties and there are the "door's always open" people who leave their sliding door open even when it's snowing and they have two big dogs. At least it keeps her happy and busy so we can get stuff done and free entertainment is always nice.






FYI: Nicki from Selena's daycare did her hair, Joe and I could never do anything that creative.
