4-Wheel Fun

Fall, gotta love fall. The leaves, the cool air, the anticipation of pumpkin patches, the camping. Camping? That is what we did Friday night, it was the last camping trip of the Summer and we got some very cool but dry/sunny weather. We piled into the truck Friday evening and towed the little Sammy over to Naches in central WA area for some 4-wheeling adventures. Since it gets darker earlier camp was set up in the dusk and it took three guys to figure out how to set up the tent. I of course took pictures and looked busy until the tent was up.
After hot dogs and smores the kiddos went to bed and the adults, or big kids actually, sat around the fire telling stories, laughing and making fun of each other because that's what you do.
It was a very long cold night in the tent, I think Joe and I each got about an hour of sleep and Selena didn't do much better but as soon as the sun came up we were all excited about 4-wheeling and kind of forgot about needing sleep.
We started out about 9am after eggs and bacon cooked by Joe and headed to the trail only a mile form camp. Selena and Haley (4) were the only kids cool enough to go on the adventure and they loved every second of it. Haley uses the potty chair so every so often we would;d have to stop get out the chair and she would go potty in the middle of a field while picking flowers.
After the long day we went back to camp to play with Rover the dog.
