We had a party for Joe's 30th the same weekend as Selena's. Joe's cake had a picture of him on it. It was super yummy also.
My girl is totally into monster trucks, even without any pushing from me. She recieved the BIG monster truck from grandma and grandpa Alonzo and all the little ones from her friend Preston.
We have made it a habit to watch the 2pm monster truck show on Speed TV everyday. This is usually just the time she wakes up from nap and if the show is not on then she makes sure to let me know to turn it on. She is learning all the truck terms, drivers names and towns where the trucks are from. I'm learning a lot more also. Great mother/daughter bonding.
Tally usually sleeps or eats during this time but I'm pretty sure that if she is listening to Selena and I her first words are going to be "bad to the bone!"

beautiful, beautiful girls! way to go mom and dad. still planning on a trip south? can't wait to see you and snuggle. maybe tally will let me play with her hair when she is older. we should start training her on that right away :) love kat
