Here is a better picture of the big baby bump. I have been telling Joe that this is going to be a BIG baby I can feel it but until yesterday it was only me complaining. Now that I know for sure that it is over 4lbs I don't feel like such a complainer, that's pretty dang big! Natalia was just over 6lbs!
I think that all the medication I have been on during this pregnancy has helped this little one grow. I had Lyme but did not know it with Natalia and there was lots of concern about her growth and she was considered small and still is in the 35th %. Selena was average at 7lbs 13oz and 10 days late. While we don't know for sure of Natalia has Lyme I do have suspicions at times. Like with all the ear infections and seizure's, low birth weight and failure to grow while in the belly is a sign as well. I have taken her with me when I see my Lyme Dr. and while she is not treating Natalia and we have not done tests on her, my Dr. does pay attention to her. I also know that Natalia meeting milestones just like she should at each month and year means she is most likely fine and there is not concern. Lyme babies have trouble sitting up and walk later than healthy babies. For now we will just watch her.
I am happy that this baby is big despite me not being able to breath. I have been on four medications which ads up to 17 pills a day during this pregnancy and while they are not near strong enough to keep my Lyme symptoms at bay, they do provide protection for the baby. We will still do the cord blood testing to know for sure but I have a good feeling about this little girl or guy.
The countdown begins and I'll have to take a poll soon about the gender!
